Name: Mick Rory
Canon: DCTV/Legends of Tomorrow
Age: 45, plus several lifetimes spent out of time that he lost track of while being brainwashed by the Time Masters.
Appearance: pic
Canon Point: After the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover
Background: https://arrow.fandom.com/wiki/Mick_Rory

Personality:
Mick Rory is very much a man at war with himself. For a man who is often regarded as simple, he's anything but, though he often fails to realize this himself. He spends a lot of his life accepting certain things as they're presented to him. For a long time, he accepts that he's going to always be a criminal and he accepts that he isn't very smart because people have told him that all his life. The beating down of the way he saw himself started from a very young age with his father's abuse and it set him down the road towards juvenile hall and eventually prison. Even after joining the Legends, the message of just how unimportant he is is beaten into him when the Legends learn that they were all chosen by Rip because history simply wouldn't miss any of them (and more so Mick had only been taken because he'd come with Snart).

He doesn't consider himself loyal and even once he's a fully comfortable member of the Legends, he still betrays them several times when he sees it in his best interest. Something that pushes him to these actions is the fact that he's often left feeling untrusted or undervalued by the other Legends, but he doesn't entirely want to see that they feel that way because he keeps betraying them or messing things up for his own gain.

He's not entirely without loyalty to anyone, because he feels a lot of loyalty for Leonard Snart. The two met in juvie when Mick defended him and they've been friends and partners for several decades since. Snart is very much a blind spot for him and clearly had been for years by the time Mick they show up. Mick is always inclined to have his back and only his back, constantly telling Snart during the first season that they should just betray the Legends and walk away together. Ultimately, Snart becomes a better man and sacrifices himself to give Mick the same chance to become someone better. Even later when time travel shenanigans have the team fighting against a Snart from the past who isn't so good yet, Mick turns on the team to stand by this Snart, taking verbal abuses until he finally hits a breaking point and realizes that he has to go with the team and leave the past Snart to become a better man and ultimately die for it. Even when he meets a Snart from another Earth, he can't help being prickly and emotional about it, because the man still wears the face of the one person he's really allowed himself to feel attached to to the point where after he'd died, Mick had spent several months being tormented by a hallucination of the man.

His lack of easy attachment can be linked to his abusive childhood. Though the fire that killed his parents is an accident according to him, he flees it without warning them and watches the flames burn the house from a safe distance. He resists friendships with just about all of the Legends, even as little things slip through. His regard for Ray in particular grows over time, though it's shown in very small things like the fact that he actually uses Ray's name here and there in between the nicknames and even his encouragement that Ray should use Snart's cold gun and be more like him. He later recants that, because he decides that Ray should just be Ray. He was also very bad at thinking like a criminal. He also winds up with a soft spot for Nate who often winds up with the nickname "Pretty".

Many people regard Mick as unintelligent and it's not something he really fights, but he is shown to be very capable at times. He had to learn how to repair his own heat gun and during the course of the show, he also starts writing novels under a pen name, selling a lot of copies and becoming quite famous between time-hopping adventures. For someone who doesn't seem to have a lot of self-respect, he shows a great deal of willpower, even after he's brainwashed and sent to hunt down the rest of the team throughout time, it doesn't take much for him to ultimately turn away from that and re-join the team and his partner. Even when the Time Masters try to brainwash him again, he manages to hold himself together through it.

Mick's general morality is grey. He likes stealing and doesn't really mind killing or maiming, either, but he hates Nazis and as time goes on, he's more and more easily swayed by the better morality of the people he's surrounded himself with. He's willing to put a lot of energy into helping his team with their mission to fix the time line, but he's also not overly concerned with following rules if he doesn't see the point in them.

Weaknesses/Temptations:
Mick is a lover of food and beer to the point that he's often eating/drinking in the background of scenes or eating even as he's saying things that may end up being important. He has a gluttonous streak and he's not particularly embarrassed by this. Sex is also a temptation for him and he's got no problem commenting on the attractiveness of people, though he's not particularly aggressive about it.

He's easily hypnotized by fire to the point that he'll stare at it and at times wax philosophically about the nature of fire and what it represents to him. This can captivate him so much that he once burned a large portion of his body, including his arms, and was left with a lot of scarring when it wasn't cared for properly. This is something he remarks as being less of an issue after his time bring brainwashed, though he is still shown to enjoy fire a great deal and allows it to captivate his attention to a degree that is still above and beyond "normal".

He's very sensitive about feeling like he's not acting on his own terms. He can follow orders and rules when he feels like he's valued, but the more undervalued he feels by partners/on a team, the more likely he is to strike out. He doesn't care if people think he's smart and often encourages the idea that he's less intelligent than he actually is, but if he feels he's being treated like a tool or a dog rather than a person, he will strike out emotionally.

*He's a criminal before he's ever introduced in canon and these are the crimes he's known to have done, but we don't have specifics beyond that

Powers/Abilities: He's a baseline human with very good skills in theft and a lot of comfort and knowledge with fire. It's unclear whether his ability to live several lifetimes of brainwashing under the Time Masters is because he's been given some sort of powers or whether it's due to time fuckery, but I think it's safe to say it was them playing with time and not a new ability on Mick's part. He also was the fire totem bearer for a time, but without the physical totem, he has none of the powers that it gave him.

Items:
heat gun
